DISCOGRAPHY

GIN AND REGRET
Gin And Regret is very much a retrospective album, drawn from songs that Angela has written over a period of many years and always loved - they have sometimes been performed but never till now released.
It's a more acoustic and vulnerable sound than Angela has created before. She has gone back to her jazz roots to create a sound that is raw, vulnerable and very honest.

WHAT LOVE SOWS
LILIES 1
“I cannot escape death, but at least I can escape the fear of it.” - Epictetus
This EP is the first in a series of four examining the topic of death. Inspired by Angela's own experience of grief, and other people's sometimes clumsy or awkward responses to that, Angela is seeking to break the taboo and normalise conversations about the thing that we all face.
This EP explores the inevitability of life ending, covering topics like miscarriage, anticipatory grief and giving our short lives meaning.
To be released in July 2025

KALEIDOSCOPE VISIONS
Seven songs, seven very different voices, seven shades of groove.
Kaleidoscope Visions is a collection of songs produced by Angela Blacklaw and Dorriel Tulloch as Kaleidogroove and written by Angela (one co-written with Sean Dominic Grand).
The album was also seven years in the making but that's a whole story in itself!
Featured singers are Laura Janssen, Sue Wyllie, Jess Lawson, Maria Simone, Zoe Cooper James and Emma Brookes. Angela does feature on one song herself but the joy in this project comes from the diversity of vocal sound.
The album is available on Bandcamp.

THE SCALE OF LOVE AND DESTRUCTION
The Scale of Love and Destruction is a collection of nine songs. They extend across a wide emotional axis, ranging from the uncomplicated seduction of Feather Fall, through the emotional ambiguity of If I Could Feel, all the way to the dark, dramatic, destructiveness of The Last Kiss. Bittersweet, gothic, edgy and addictive...
The Scale of Love and Destruction is available on Bandcamp. https://angelablacklaw.bandcamp.com/album/the-scale-of-love-and-destruction

M.K.C.
"The sheer uplifting joy and love the group exudes makes you realise that they are indeed a true musical family but also belies the incredible musical sophistication and complexity which streams through every song. The harmonic structure and musical arrangements of the material are stunning and rarely found on these shores.
The expansive repertoire takes you far beyond the expected and where other "choirs" fear to tread. MKC is a gem that we are very lucky to have!"
Ron St Louis
Angela not only sang but worked on the production for MKC's debut album M.K.C. which is available on iTunes and Spotify.
