Angela is an accomplished multi-genre songwriter and often collaborate with other writers and artists.  She primarily writes cinematic soundscapes, jazz/pop, soul and RnB but also collaborates to write other styles including dance music and dubstep.

Angela has studied jazz and contemporary music at Goldsmiths College, and songwriting at the Institute for Contemporary Music and Performance; she has studied vocal technique with jazz artists Clare Foster and Brigitte Beraha, and with top vocal coach Mike King.   Her influences and inspirations include: Bjork, Portishead, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac, Jill Scott, D’Angelo, Incognito, Erykah Badu, Mary Coughlan, Stevie Wonder, Susheela Raman, Steely Dan, Adele, Kate Bush, the Brand New Heavies, Rachelle Ferrell, Amy Winehouse, Prince, Take 6, Carole King, John Legend.

Angela is a member of the Musicians Union, the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA), PRS for Music and PPL.

Angela’s voice has a warmth that has been compared to Lisa Stansfield, Emiliana Torrini and Sade, and she is noted for her performance skills. 

Angela is an English/German hybrid who, just to confuse things, was brought up in Scotland.  She began her performing career as an actress and although her love of music won out, she retains an effortless performing style and stage presence, which enable her to connect in a warm and authentic way with a live audience.  A regular performer in London, Angela has performed in in venues such as Pizza on the Park, the Lumiere and the Front Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, but she has also sung in New York and Hungary.
